The eighth edition of “Džada Film Fest”, under the slogan “Pay attention!”, begins on September 11 and will last until September 17 in Njegoševa Street, on the plateau in front of the “Radosav Ljumović” National Library, where for six nights from 7:30 p.m. h to screen one debut film each in the competition section. In addition to the competition, the International Festival of Debut Feature Films also offers the Podgorica audience a revue program, which starts at 9 p.m. and is linked to several locations on the streets of Podgorica. On that occasion, the Secretary of the Secretariat for Culture and Sports of the Capital City of Podgorica pointed out that the festival, which is developing more and more every year, is very important for stimulating the work of local filmmakers, as well as for the development of the film audience. “The Secretariat for Culture and Sports continuously supports the development of the city’s cultural and artistic scene, carefully monitors and supports subjects and organizations whose focus is culture, and to our satisfaction, that number is increasing year by year. Together with the festivals that operate within our traditional manifestations, we try to position Podgorica as an open and progressive city. “Congratulations to the Džada Film Fest and the selector who chose the film for this year’s screening from Montenegrin production,” said Medigović. The director of the festival, Nina Lončar, pointed out that this year, the additional content and program of the festival will be presented by Jada Junior, in which the youngest can expect good fun, as well as Jada Talk, a panel discussion on interesting topics, and an action in which they participate in the greening of city areas with the city’s Zelenil . The award ceremony will take place on September 16 in Block 5, when the European Mobility Week opens. As every year, admission to all screenings is free.
