National park Skadar Lake

Lake Skadar is one of the most important tourist resources of Montenegro and Podgorica. It is a unique nature reservation with a very rich diversity of flora and fauna and the settlement of rare an endangered species of birds like curly pelican. There, you may enjoy boat and ship cruises, swimming on the beach, visiting the island`s churches and monasteries, bird watching and fishing. On the Lake, there is a unique island village called Vranjina, which is known as Montenegrin Venice. The Visitors’ Centar is also located there with the relief collection of all Montenegro National parks, as well as the exhibition of authentic animal species. Nearby, there is an island and Fortification Lesendro from the 18th century.

National park Prokletije

Visitors of the National Park Prokletije can enjoy many attractions: sightseeing spots, untouched mountain landscapes on snow peaks, mountain lakes, caves, cave drawings, deep canyon with natural bridge, natural blueberries, traditional rural houses. Also, for  mountaineering and hiking fans there are marked walking trails.

Regional park Komovi

The Komovi are stretching in the south-eastern part of Montenegro, between the mountains Bjelasica and Prokletije and the rivers Lim and Tara.

Besides Durmitor and Bjelasica, the Komovi are the most impressive range in the Dinaric moun – tain system. Diverse and unique flora and fauna, numerous clear mountain springs and rivers, many cultural monuments, churches and monasteries, as well as the warmth of the people who live under Komovi can`t leave you indifferent.

Also, for the mountaineering and hiking lovers there are marked trails for that type of tourist offer.
