The witty and entertaining synchronized animated adventure “Minions & Monsters” (2026) will be screened as part of the KIC “Budo Tomović” film program on Saturday, September 26, in the digitized KIC cinema hall at 11:00 AM.

The story centers on Minions James and Henry, who arrive in Hollywood in the early 1920s in search of a new master. Instead, they accidentally find themselves in front of movie cameras and become unexpected stars of silent cinema. Their unusual appearance, chaotic nature, and signature gibberish prove to be a recipe for success, and the Minions are soon enjoying the fame and lifestyle of movie stars. However, with the introduction of sound in cinema, their film careers come to an end, as their famous unintelligible babble is no longer welcome on screen. Instead of giving up, James and Henry decide to make their own movie—a monster movie. Driven by the desire to make their cinematic story as spectacular as possible, the Minions use a magic book and summon real monsters. What was supposed to be just a movie trick turns into an adventure that spins out of control, and the little heroes must find a way to fix what they have done.
