✨ You’ve been asking all these days — and here it is! ✨

📚 “Čudunka – A Festival in Kotor” is arriving at its first International Literature Festival in Podgorica, taking place from September 29th to October 4th. 🎈

🏠 You can find Čudunka at the Ouroboros Publishing House booth, and on October 3rd, from 5 PM to 8 PM, the author Jelena Petrović will be there to hang out with you.

🌟 Čudunka is a children’s novel about imagination, friendship, books, and creating small miracles — together.

📖 It was inspired by the true story of the author’s family and a family festival in Kotor that Jelena has been organizing for years for her children and loved ones. It is meant for children and young people, but also for adults who love to keep at least a little bit of childhood magic alive.

🎵 Antuntun is a character from a well-known poem that the author’s generation grew up with. In Čudunka’s story, he stepped out of the poem into reality and became her best friend.

💫 Until one day, he disappeared…

That is when Čudunka creates a festival full of imagination, games, books, and friendship — in hopes of finding him.

😊 Jelena Petrović is 46 years old and says that while writing this book, she truly found her playful childhood spirit again.

💛 We believe that is exactly why Čudunka’s story can connect children and adults, reminding us how important it is to create our own small worlds and miracles together.

📕 The novel was published in September 2026, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro. This is Jelena’s first published novel.
