🇮🇹 On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Italy, Italijanski kulturni centar Podgorica is organizing the performance of the play “A Woman Called Republic” on Monday, May 11th, at 7:00 PM, in the hall DODEST.
✍️ The text is written by Teresa Albano, and the cast includes Aleksandra Brajović, Anđelika Zogović, and Learta Gjokaj.
Through the character of a woman who personifies the values, challenges, and transformations of the Republic, the play portrays key moments from its founding in 1946 to the present day. Blending historical memory and emotion, the story highlights achievements, difficulties, and social changes, offering the audience an opportunity to reflect on the identity and development of modern Italy.
🗣 The performance will be in Italian with subtitles in Montenegrin.
