On the occasion of World Mental Health Day: A Lecture on the Soul ✨🫰🏼

The word #psychology carries in its root the Ancient Greek word psyche, which means “#soul.” However, in the contemporary zeitgeist and the frequent search for quick and simple solutions, we often overlook that taking care of mental health is not just about removing symptoms, but is a long-term process of understanding and nurturing one’s own soul.

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, we invite you to attend a public lecture on Friday, October 9th, starting at 6:00 PM, at the “Radosav Ljumović” National Library.

Through an interactive 90-minute lecture, we will journey through various historical, theoretical, and cultural definitions of the soul, all the way to sketching the inner world in real-time through Jung’s map of the psyche.

As part of “A Lecture on the Soul,” representatives of the National Library will also present a curated selection from their collection in the fields of psychology, psychotherapy, and mental health, which is available for borrowing and further study.
