The first Street Food Festival in Podgorica will take place from September 18 to 21 in Podgorica Park, under the auspices of the Podgorica Tourist Organization, the Secretariat for Culture and the Podgorica Tourist Organization announced.
As they said, Podgorica, following the example of European capitals, will become richer this September for a significant gastronomic event.
“From September 18th to 21st, the first Street Food Festival will be held in Podgorica Park, an event that will bring together the best cuisines from Montenegro, the region and the world in one place.”
During the four festival days, visitors will have the opportunity to try a variety of international specialties – from popular burgers, pizzas and sushi, to national cuisine such as kebabs, roasts and popekas. The festival will offer more than 70 dishes, offering a wide range of tastes that will satisfy even the most demanding food lovers.
In addition to the rich gastronomic offer, the festival also brings a rich musical program. On September 18th, the festival will be opened by the Tropico Band, and performances by Dj Nesha and Dj Mandozic. On September 19th, you can expect a performance by the Lombelico band, while on September 20th, the Street Food Festival will feature the band Nast.Roje, a regional cover sensation and the well-known DJ duo Yugoton House. On September 21st, the most famous regional Čola cover band will take the stage, with whom you will sing along to hits such as Hotel Balkan, Merak mi je, Pusti pusti modu.
“The festival will be held every day from 6 p.m. to midnight, and admission is free for all visitors,” they said in a statement.
