The screening of the movie “The Yellow Tie” (2025), directed by Serge Ioan Celebidachi, will take place on Monday, August 3rd, at 9 PM at the Pavilion in Njegoš Park.

Inspired by the life of one of the greatest 20th-century composers, the Romanian genius George Enescu, the film follows his journey from an exceptionally talented boy to a world-renowned artist. Through a story of music, love, sacrifice, and perseverance, “The Yellow Tie” brings an emotional portrait of a man whose work left an indelible mark on the history of classical music.

The film features an international cast led by John Malkovich, Ben Schnetzer, Miranda Richardson, and Sean Clifford, while its rich visual aesthetics and carefully reconstructed historical ambiance vividly evoke the European cultural scene of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The audience will have the opportunity to watch a masterpiece that blends biographical drama and music into a story of talent, artistic dedication, and the power of creation.

The screening is organized by the Secretariat for Culture in cooperation with the European House in Podgorica, the Film Centre of Montenegro, and the Cinema Exhibitors Network.
