The September repertoire of the City Theater features two premieres and one guest performance:

🎭 The play “Krađa, prekrađa i krađa” (Theft, Re-theft, and Theft), directed and adapted by Vida Ognjenović, co-produced by the City Theater Podgorica and JU “Grad Teatar” Budva, will premiere on Friday, September 18th, at 8 PM in the Main Hall of the City Theater. A rerun is scheduled for Saturday, September 19th, at the same time.

🎭 The repertoire also includes a guest performance of the play “Filomena Marturano”, based on the text by Eduardo De Filippo and directed by Jagoš Marković. The play, co-produced with the Tivat Culture Center, will be performed on September 23rd at 7:30 PM at the Belgrade Drama Theater.

🎭 The program will close with the premiere of the opera “Ostrvo” (The Island), co-produced by the City Theater Podgorica, KotorArt, and JU Music Center of Montenegro. The libretto is written by Jelena Novak, while the direction and composition are by Irena Popović Dragović. The premiere is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th, at 8 PM in the Main Hall of the City Theater, while the rerun will be performed a day later, September 27th, at the same time.
