The first Regional Theatre Comedy Festival ZEFEST will be held from April 23 to 27 at KIC Budo Tomović.

The festival was founded in honor of the great Montenegrin actor Zef Bata Dedivanović, and during the festival a short film titled “In Honor of Zefu” will be premiered.

The festival is organized by Media Solution d.o.o. and NGO Teatar mladih, with the support of companies and local authorities.

Media Solution d.o.o. is a production company with extensive experience in organizing regionally significant events, as well as in marketing production. Its clients include state and local institutions, recognized NGOs, and business companies.

NGO Teatar mladih has been engaged for over twenty years in theatre production and the promotion of domestic dramatic writing and creators. Prominent Montenegrin and regional theatre artists have collaborated in various stages of producing plays for children and adults, which—through their longevity and performances across the region—demonstrate the quality of Teatar mladih’s work.

The festival is conceived as a five-day showcase of theatre performances in the comedy genre.

“The festival bears the name of Zef Bata Dedivanović, who created his recognizable acting expression in comedy. By naming the festival in honor of this Montenegrin actor, we preserve the memory of a great artist and a man who, through his work and life, carried and preserved the spirit of Podgorica and Montenegro,” the Zeffest team stated.
