Within the panel “Podgorica Stories,” through personal narratives about a specific time period as well as space, numerous prominent figures from various fields of activity have been presented.

This time, through a conversation with journalist Vanja Kovačević about contemporary journalism, media responsibility, the challenges of investigative reporting, as well as her literary work, Milena Perović—one of the most prominent names in modern journalism—will speak.

Milena Perović is the editor-in-chief and executive director of the weekly newspaper “Monitor,” with two decades of journalistic experience. She has been awarded twice for investigative journalism by the EU Delegation in Montenegro. She is the author of the TV show “Direktno” on TV Vijesti. Her poetry collection “In the Palm of the Hand” (“U šaci”) won an award at the 25th Nikšić Literary Meetings competition.

The panel will be held on Tuesday, May 26, in the Multimedia Hall of the KIC “Budo Tomović,” starting at 8 PM.
