📣 From September 16 to 22, the Capital City of Podgorica will join cities across Europe in celebrating European Mobility Week under the slogan “Mobility for All”.

The campaign places the citizens’ perspective at the heart of smart urban mobility planning, promoting safe, accessible, and sustainable transport for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or life circumstances.

Furthermore, it highlights how the design and organization of streets, public spaces, and transport systems directly impact the quality of life in our cities and communities.

Launched by the European Commission in 2002, European Mobility Week has grown into one of the world’s largest initiatives promoting sustainable urban mobility. Last year, more than 2,700 cities across 45 countries participated in the campaign. The initiative places an extra emphasis on intergenerational equity, connecting generations through simple and universal ways of moving: cycling and walking.

We invite citizens to choose walking, cycling, public transport, and other eco-friendly ways of moving more frequently during this week. Every step and every car-free ride contributes to cleaner air, reduced traffic congestion, and a higher quality of life in our community.
