✨️The eleventh edition of the international festival “Guitar Days in Podgorica” will begin with a solo concert by the prominent Hungarian classical guitar virtuoso, Sándor Papp, on Wednesday, October 28, at the Grand Hall of KIC “Budo Tomović” at 8:00 PM.

🎵The concert repertoire will include stylistically diverse works ranging from classical and Hungarian traditional music by Mertz and Kováts (Barna Kováts), all the way to vivid Latin American rhythms and compositions by Tirao, Yupanqui, Lauro, and Morel.

✨️On the same evening, following the classical segment, the famous Spanish flamenco guitarist Manolo Franco Barón will perform, playing exclusively his original compositions (Granaína, Soleá, Farruca, Alegrías, and Bulerías). For two pieces, the distinguished Spanish guitarist Juan Lorenzo will join him on stage as an accompanying guitar.

By blending the refinement of the classical guitar and the expressiveness of flamenco within a single evening, the “Guitar Days in Podgorica” festival once again confirms its status as one of the most significant musical events in the region.

The organization of the festival and support for its realization were made possible by: the Secretariat for Culture of the Capital City of Podgorica, the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, the Embassy of Spain, the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, the Turkish Cultural Center “Yunus Emre”, JU KIC “Budo Tomović”, and the “Vasa Pavić” Art School for Music and Ballet.
