Outdoor Exhibition of Works by Nađa Stamatović

Nađa Stamatović is a visual artist from Podgorica whose work grows from the most intimate place – a longing for freedom and the love that carries this freedom as a gift. After living several life chapters between Italy, Germany, New York, and Lisbon, she returns home, finding light and her own reflection in the mountains.

The exhibition “The Mountain in Me” was born out of a need to find meaning in the smallest things – from a walnut as a portal of memory to the mountain that every person carries inside. Through drawings and graphics, the artist explores the connection between the walnut, the eagle, the mountain, and man – a union that forms one powerful and recognizable soul.
