Opening of the photography exhibition "IT IS STILL NOT SILENCE" by author Milivoje Vasiljević on October 28th at the "f64" Gallery📸

Milivoje Vasiljević’s photography exhibition is dedicated to the world of birds, its discovery, and the growing awareness of the need for their protection during the Sixth Mass Extinction event.

Following his relocation back to Belgrade in 2020, it was precisely the birds coming to his window that sparked the author’s photographic inspiration and renewed his connection with nature. At the same time, the exhibition invites reflection on human impact on nature and the importance of preserving the living world that we often take for granted.

Driven by the desire to bring the world of birds closer to as many people as possible through photography and to encourage greater awareness of their protection, the author invites you to find your favorite among the exhibited photographs. At the opening, you will be able to write down your name and the title of the photograph you like the most, and during the exhibition guided tour on Friday, October 30th, at 7 PM, one participant will be drawn to receive a print of their chosen photograph as a gift.

The guided tour will also be attended by an ornithologist from the Center for Protection and Research of Birds (CZIP), Marija Šoškić Popović, who will be available for questions and discussions about birds in Montenegro and their protection.

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, you will also be able to purchase MONTICOLA badges from @czip_montenegro, featuring bird motifs from the exhibited photographs. All sales proceeds are intended for bird research and protection in Montenegro.

Exhibition curator: Miloš Marjanović, art historian and member of the Gallery Council.
