➡️ Some of the most prominent representatives of the Montenegrin rap and hip-hop scene, Random and Who See, will perform at KIC “Budo Tomović” on Sunday, June 21, at 8:00 PM. With this concert, KIC will mark Music Day (Fête de la Musique) on June 21, a traditional event it has organized for 25 consecutive years.

🎵 As a reminder, Fête de la Musique was established in France at the initiative of Minister of Culture Jack Lang and musician Maurice Fleuret, and was first held in Paris in 1982. The event soon spread beyond France’s borders and gained an international character.

🔴 One of the most respected MCs in the Balkans, Random from Podgorica is the holder of three Rap Skillz titles and the author of numerous EP and LP releases, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Džej Džej Okoča crew. His solo albums Origano and Eo viđi achieved cult status and received excellent reactions from both audiences and critics, which is also expected from his upcoming album Izabrani ljekar (Chosen Doctor), currently in preparation.

🟡 During more than 20 years of their career, the Kotor-based group Who See has released five studio albums and won over audiences throughout Montenegro and the wider region. Their unique blend of hip-hop, humor, Mediterranean spirit, and social satire has produced songs that have become an indispensable part of the regional music scene. They are recipients of numerous regional awards and recognitions.

This musical event is co-financed by the Organization for the Protection of Music Authors’ Rights of Montenegro (PAM CG) and is part of the Podgorica Cultural Summer festival.
