The play “Romeo and Juliet – Scenes of Temptation”, based on the work of William Shakespeare and directed by Branislav Mićunović, will have its premiere on Friday, May 29 at the Montenegrin National Theatre at 8 PM, marking the closing of its 72nd season.
The repeat performances will be held on May 30 and June 1 at the same time.
The adaptation was created by director Mićunović and Dragana Tripković, who is also responsible for the dramaturgy. The set and costume designer is Aleksandar Denić, choreography and stage movement are by Tamara Vujošević-Mandić, and stage speech and proofreading by Dubravka Drakić.
The assistant director is Nataša Milićević, assistant for stage movement is Julija Milačić Petrović-Njegoš, assistant costume designer is Maša Mirković, assistant set designer is Jelena Ivančević, and executive producer is Vukosava Tomović.
Cast: Srđan Grahovac, Ana Vujošević, Dejan Ivanić, Jelena Nenezić, Kristina Obradović, Aleksandar Radulović, Emir Ćatović, Ana Vučković, Lazar Dragojević, Jelena Minić, Julija Milačić Petrović-Njegoš, Jelena Đukić, Aleksandar Gavranić, Omar Bajramspahić, Nemanja Todorović / Pavle Prelević, Luka Stanković, and first-year acting students from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, Strahinja Radonjić and Ljubica Drašković.
The May repertoire of the Montenegrin National Theatre is also available to passengers on all flights of the national airline Air Montenegro.
