This year’s eighth edition of the music documentary film festival Rockumentary Days will open with a beautiful cinematic story about one of the most important artists of the former Yugoslavia. The film “Iza osmeha” (“Behind the Smile”), about Vlada Divljan, will offer a fitting introduction to everything featured in this year’s programme. The screening is scheduled for Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 PM at the Kružni tok Cultural Centre.

Ten years after Vlada Divljan’s death, his family opens boxes containing his belongings. Among them, they discover footage recorded with a small camera. Vlada’s recordings of family life, as well as of making music in his room and with his band, together with homemade animated adventures on a deserted island, take us deep into the intimate world of the renowned musician.
