🆕️A discussion regarding Miodrag Lekić’s book “On the East of the West and the West of the East” will be held on Friday, July 10th, at 9 PM, in the Multimedia Hall of KIC “Budo Tomović”, as part of the “Pekić’s Silver Hand” Festival.

📖The author will discuss the book, particularly the chapter inspired by his acquaintance and meetings with Borislav Pekić, one of the most significant South Slavic writers of the 20th century, with Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Jerkov and MA Ksenija Rakočević.

➡️Miodrag Lekić’s latest work is a collection of essays, notes, and analyses, in which he combines rich diplomatic experience, broad education, and a deep understanding of political, cultural, and social processes. Observing the contemporary world through the prism of historical experiences, international relations, and cultural patterns, the author offers readers a multi-layered view of today’s challenges.

➡️Lekić’s texts go beyond surface interpretations of events, exploring their causes, consequences, and broader civilizational context. A special value of the book is the author’s ability to connect political processes with cultural and spiritual issues, creating a work outside the framework of classical political publicism that encourages reflection on the modern world.
