As part of the Podgorica Cultural Summer 2026 program, on Thursday, September 17th, starting at 9 PM (21:00 h) at Argentina Square, the audience can expect a concert by the Afro Gitano trio.

This unique musical lineup consists of Baba Sissoko, one of the most famous musicians from Mali, renowned Macedonian guitarist and composer Toni Kitanovski, and internationally recognized DJ Goce.

Afro Gitano brings an extraordinary blend of African musical traditions, Balkan sensibility, and contemporary urban sound, weaving together African rhythms, elements of Gypsy music, hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul, and world music.

The authentic sound of African tradition brought by Baba Sissoko, combined with Kitanovski’s recognizable guitar expression and the energy of DJ Goce, creates a dynamic and contemporary musical experience that connects different cultures, traditions, and generations.
