On Saturday, October 17th, at 8:00 PM on the Main Stage of the Music Center of Montenegro, a concert by the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra will take place.
Under the baton of the renowned maestro Bojan Suđić, the soloist for the evening will be Stefan Milenković, one of the most prominent violinists of our time with a rich international career.
The program includes the overture to the opera “Ruslan and Lyudmila” by Mikhail Glinka, a piece of lively rhythm and distinctive musical color, followed by Violin Concerto No. 5 in A minor, Op. 37, by Belgian composer Henri Vieuxtemps, which is characterized by technical brilliance and the lyrical expressiveness of the violin. The evening will conclude with “Symphonic Dances,” Op. 45, by Sergei Rachmaninoff, his last major orchestral work, filled with dramatic contrasts and nostalgic echoes of the past.
The friend of the 20th season of the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra is NLB Bank.
