A concert by the alternative band “Životni” will take place on Thursday, September 3rd at 9:00 PM on the Plateau in front of the “Banja” building (near the Karver Bookstore). 🎸🎵

The “Životni” project was launched by Martin Džorlev, Rade Bikovski, and Aleksandar Gavelski. In November 2025, they released their acclaimed debut album “Na balkan, sam” (“On the Balkans, Alone”). Their original work stems from what they call the “Balkan Spring,” featuring socially engaged and intimate lyrics—protesting against genocide, global apartheid, and the toxic, corrupt political parties both in their home country and beyond. We are all animals (životinje), longing for a home. Longing not to have to leave.
