A concert by the renowned duo, cellist Asja Valčić and pianist Sebastian Schneider, will be held on Monday, July 20th, at 9 PM, at the Pavilion in Njegoš Park.

The duo of Asja Valčić and Sebastian Schneider, formed in 2024, quickly attracted attention with their distinctive musical expression, performances in Austria, and a successful tour in China.

Their music bridges classical and jazz, blending the richness of classical tradition with the freedom of improvisation and contemporary European jazz.

Their debut album “Sun & Moon” explores the dualities that shape human experience – peace and movement, joy and sadness, structure and freedom – through an expressive blend of composition and interpretation. The sound of the cello and piano creates a subtle and virtuosic dialogue, imbued with chamber sensitivity and profound emotional depth.

The quality of the performers is also confirmed by accolades – Sebastian Schneider was nominated for the Amadeus Award and the Austrian Jazz Award in 2024, while Asja Valčić was nominated for the German Record Critics’ Award and the Austrian Jazz Award in 2025.

The concert is organized by the Secretariat for Culture of the Capital City in cooperation with the Embassy of Austria in Montenegro.
