At the beginning of the new tourist season on the Adriatic, a family of six goes to a beach in Savudrija. Seven years ago, their father drowned on that very beach. For the children, aged 15 to 28, and their mother, this is the first time since that event that they have all gone to the sea together. The filmmaker, the eldest son, captures this moment without a film crew, allowing intimate conversations about collective trauma and personal ways of coping with loss to unfold in a family setting.
