“Lekcije mog tate” (My Dad’s Lessons) is a film essay that explores the relationship between the director and her late father. Her father left behind hundreds of hours of recorded footage – from family videos and recordings of the city of Osijek from the 1980s until his death, to travel films. Looking today at all these recordings made during his lifetime, director Dalija Dozet attempts to delve into and understand their relationship anew, saying everything to her dad that she left unsaid until now.
