Using humor as her primary weapon, an Israeli comedian and activist challenges the idea of coexistence in a rapidly changing region through her stand-up show “Coexistence, My Ass!”. Filmed over five turbulent years, the film tracks her personal, professional, and political journey—from growing up in the only integrated Israeli-Palestinian village to her disillusionment with traditional peace activism and her turn toward comedy. As her popularity grows, the reality around her becomes increasingly complex, and her humor sharper. Through satire, the film opens up difficult questions, reminding us that a different reality remains possible nonetheless.
