🌸 On the occasion of International Menopause Month, Kosmos bookstore is organizing a public panel discussion dedicated to a topic that is still talked about less than it should be – menopause and the changes it brings to a woman’s life.
We will talk about hormones, health, symptoms, and support options, but also about the experiences, challenges, and societal expectations that women face in midlife, looking at it from two angles: medical and social.

👉 The guests of the panel will be Assoc. Prof. Aleksandar Đogo, MD, PhD, specialist in internal medicine and endocrinologist at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, president of the Montenegrin Association for Menopause and Involutive Hypoandrogenism, and Iva Pavlović, journalist and content creator who opens up space for conversation about menopause, women’s health, and life after fifty.

🌸 The goal of the conversation is to offer reliable information, open up questions that women often keep silent about, and encourage understanding of a life stage that is natural, but can be both physically and emotionally demanding for many women. Because menopause is not just a question of hormones. It is part of a broader story about health, quality of life, self-relationship, and the way society views women when they step outside the framework of imposed expectations about youth.
