The Marko Miljanov Museum was opened in 1971. It is located in the birthplace of the famous Montenegrin prince and writer, in the foothills of the ancient city of Medun, one of the oldest settlements in this part of the Balkans. Marko Miljanov was a notable Montenegrin historical figure and writer. The museum features photographic exhibits presenting details from his life, personal items – clothing, weapons, jewelry; a collection of manuscripts, editions of his works, and a library with over 6,000 books. In the museum, there is an audio guide in Montenegrin and English.
