Muscles, sweat, obsession, violence, and love ❤️‍🔥

“Love Lies Bleeding” directed by Rose Glass is a wild queer thriller about two women, a desire spinning out of control, and a world where love is not a gentle counterweight to violence, but a force that can be just as dangerous, liberating, and unpredictable.

Sexy, dark, funny, and completely uninterested in polite notions of femininity, the film blends lesbian romance, body horror, crime, and black humor into a story about the body, power, passion, and the refusal to live by rules that do not fit us.

We are watching it at the “Drugarice” Festival on Sunday, October 11th, at the Montenegrin Cinematheque, following the awards ceremony. After the film, we will hold a discussion during the panel “Queer Films Between Stereotypes and Freedom.”
