What does it look like when the assembly hall transforms into a space for youth questions, ideas, and recommendations?

“Youth Parliament” is a simulation of the Assembly of the Capital City, where young people will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the decision-making process and engage in direct dialogue with institutional representatives through active participation.

During the simulation, young participants will ask questions, pitch their proposals, and formulate recommendations, while institutional representatives will answer their questions and engage in direct discussion.

A special focus will be placed on key topics concerning youth life in Podgorica:

🚌 Traffic and mobility
🏀 Sport and culture
🌱 Communal affairs and the environment
💼 Entrepreneurship and investments
🤝 Social welfare and youth support
💰 Budget and local revenues
🏙️ Local government and property

Representatives from all nine secretariats of the Capital City, alongside three directorates and administrations, will take part in the activity. This offers young people a unique opportunity to address their questions directly to those in charge of various aspects of city life.

The “Youth Parliament” is organized by the Youth Activism Network of Montenegro (MOACG) as part of the “Podgorica – A City Tailored for Youth” project, with the support of the Secretariat for Local Self-Government and Cooperation with Civil Society of the Capital City and the Youth Office of the Capital City.
