📽 The screening of the Italian film “Madly” (“Follemente”) will take place on Monday, July 6th, at 9 PM, at the Pavilion in Njegošev Park. The program is organized in cooperation with the Secretariat for Culture of the Capital City, the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, and the Embassy of Italy in Montenegro.

🎞 “Follemente” is an Italian romantic comedy directed by Paolo Genovese, the author of the acclaimed film “Perfect Strangers”. The movie explores the inner world of two people on their first date in a witty and original way.

➡️ The plot follows Lara and Piero, who meet and arrange a dinner at her apartment in Rome. Although they seem to be alone, the two of them are not the only “participants” of the encounter – their thoughts, emotions, fears, desires, and inner voices take human form, leading lively debates about every decision, glance, and spoken word. These inner dialogues create a series of comical yet touching situations.

➡️ The film deals with universal questions: how much do past experiences define us, why do we often sabotage ourselves, and how difficult is it to let go and surrender to a new love. Combining humor and emotion, “Follemente” shows that each of us carries a multitude of different voices that influence our decisions, especially when it comes to romantic relationships.

➡️ Thanks to its original concept, witty dialogues, and charming performances by Edoardo Leo and Pilar Fogliati, the film became one of the biggest box office hits in Italy in 2025.
