Exhibition “Carnival Dreams” is filled with the artist’s recognizable human figures and animal imagery, intertwined in a harmonious and imaginative interaction. The inhabitants of his works live in a magical world somewhere on the boundary between reality and dreams.
Anatolij Stankulov was born in 1956 in Ruse. He graduated in architecture in Sofia in 1982, and from 1983 to 1990 he worked as an artist for numerous newspapers and magazines.
He served as a director of an advertising agency and as an artistic director of a foundation. His works are displayed in numerous galleries in Bulgaria and around the world. He has illustrated more than 150 books and organized over 600 exhibitions worldwide.
From Sofia, through Paris, New York, Budapest, Barcelona, and Rome, Anatolij Stankulov now comes to Montenegro, attracted by its nature, history, and people.
The exhibition will open on May 29th at 4:00 p.m. at NB „Radosav Ljumović“, and the display will be available for viewing over the next ten days in the “Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin” hall.
