🔴On the occasion of celebrating 20 years of Montenegro’s independence, the exhibition “The Mountain in Me” by visual artist Nađa Stamatović will open on Wednesday, May 20, at 7 PM, at Petrović Park in Kruševac, Podgorica.

👤Nađa Stamatović is a visual artist from Podgorica whose work emerges from the most intimate place — a longing for freedom and the love that carries that freedom as a gift. After living several lives between Italy, Germany, New York, and Lisbon, she returns home — where, in the mountains, she finds light and her own reflection.

🖼️The exhibition “The Mountain in Me” was created out of a need to find meaning in the smallest things — from walnuts as portals of memory to the mountain every person carries within themselves. Through drawings and graphic works, the artist explores the connection between the walnut, the eagle, the mountain, and the human being — a union that forms one strong, recognizable soul.

➡️Inspired by the words of Mary Oliver — “First, love yourself. Then forget it. Then, love the world.” — this exhibition is an invitation to young people to find something they deeply love, to believe in themselves, and in that quiet, solitary path which, the closer you are to yourself, becomes surrounded by the right people.
