On Saturday, May 16, at 21:00, drummer and improviser Aleksandar Škorić will perform at @kruzni_tok_.

Born in Bački Jarak, he began his musical journey in high school and continued his studies at renowned jazz conservatories in Groningen and Ghent. Over the years, he has developed a distinctive style that blends raw energy, spiritual depth, and complete freedom of the moment.

As a long-time member of the European free jazz and free improvisation scene, he has performed and collaborated with some of the most important names in contemporary avant-garde music, including Charles Gayle, Akira Sakata, William Parker, John Dikeman, Jaimie Branch, and Shabaka Hutchings.

Expect a solo performance that blurs the lines between concert, free improvisation, and deeply personal sonic expression. 🥁🎶
