On the DODEST stage, on 27 May at 7:00 PM, the play “Krevet od lišća” will be performed, directed by Sandra Vujović based on a text by Katarina Nikolić.

The new production by dramaturge and director Sandra Vujović, inspired by the motifs of the same-titled text by contemporary author Katarina Nikolić, offers a subtle, emotionally powerful and layered stage story about the modern individual and their inner silence in an era of alienation, deep personal questioning, the discovery of various identity layers, artificial intelligence, fewer and fewer “smart” people, and more and more “smart” things.

“The play explores the emotional loneliness of the contemporary urban individual, the question of invisibility within functional relationships, and the subtle fractures of identity in a space that is technologically perfect but emotionally empty,” says director Sandra Vujović.

The cast includes Milica Kekić, Mirjana Spaić, and Đorđije Tatić. Music is composed by Irena Popović Dragović. The stage space is designed by Zorica Baković and Boris Vukezić, while Danica Janković is responsible for visual identity, costume design, photography, and graphic design.

“Krevet od lišća” is an intimate, poetic, and emotionally precise theatrical form that opens up space for love, vulnerability, and recognition, while also inviting the audience to confront their own absences, needs, and unspoken emotions.

The project is produced in co-production by Bunt Scene, Pigmalion d.o.o., and KIC “Budo Tomović”, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, as well as the Secretariat for Culture of the Capital City of Podgorica.
