The play “The Case of Medea”, directed by one of the most prominent Slovenian and European directors Diego de Brea, will be performed on Saturday, May 14th at 8 PM on the Main Stage of the Montenegrin National Theatre (CNP). The new project of the national theatre is produced in co-production with the Public Institution Cultural Center Bar.
Medea is one of the most powerful works of ancient tragedy, exploring questions of love, betrayal, power, and the position of women in society.
Cast: Nada Vukčević, Jovan Dabović, Luka Stanković, Ivona Raković, and Jelena V. Đukić.
In addition to directing, de Brea is also responsible for the conceptual design of the performance and lighting design (together with Dejan Kalezić and Sreten Milošević). The dramaturg is Kata Đarmati, costume designer Lina Leković, with dramaturgy and costume assistants Sergej Pavlović and Maša Mirković. Sound design is by Filip Radević, while video and photo materials are by Duško Miljanić and Vukša Vujošević. Dubravka Drakić is in charge of stage speech, and the executive producer of the play is Danilo Milatović.
