The play “Mali bračni zločini,” for grown-up children in marriage, but also for all those who find it difficult to say “I love you,” will be performed on April 23 at Crnogorsko narodno pozorište, Studio Stage at 8 PM, as part of the “Scena Akademija” production.

Adapted from the text by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt, the play is performed and adapted by young Montenegrin actors Pavle Bogojević and Marija Đurić, with expert consultation from CNP director Marko Baćović and young Montenegrin director Dušanka Belada. The rerun of the play is scheduled for the following day.

Set design was created by Ivanka Vana Prelević, costume design by Mia Đurović, music selection by Dušanka Belada, and executive producer is Danilo Milatović.

Esther Perel says that couples always clash for three reasons:

  1. power and control,
  2. care and intimacy,
  3. respect and recognition.

So why is it so hard to locate the problem and solve it? Why do we so often rely on our primal instincts in love, surrendering to animal impulses? Why don’t we allow ourselves to say what truly bothers us? And must love always go all the way – all or nothing?

This is a play for grown-up children in marriage. And for everyone who finds it difficult to say “I love you.”
