The screening of the movie “Tootsie”, written by Larry Gelbart and Murray Schisgal, and directed by Sydney Pollack, will take place on Thursday, July 23rd, at 9 PM on the plateau in front of the Petrović Palace.

The movie “Tootsie” is one of the most successful American comedies of all time. At the center of the story is Michael Dorsey, a talented but unemployed actor who disguises himself as a woman to land a role in a TV soap opera. What begins as a desperate attempt to find work turns into a witty and heartwarming story about identity, love, and human relationships.

The Oscar-winning film, starring Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lange, won over both audiences and critics thanks to its intelligent humor, brilliant acting performances, and timeless themes that remain just as relevant today. Alongside Hoffman and Lange, the cast includes Teri Garr, Dabney Coleman, Charles Durning, and others.

The screening of the movie “Tootsie” is organized by the Secretariat for Culture in cooperation with the Network of Film Exhibitors of Montenegro.
