📢 On May 14th at 7:00 PM, we invite you to a lecture by Egor Koroljev titled “Podgorica and Titograd: A Journey Through Time” 🕰️

📍 Location: Adriatic International School
🎟️ Entry: donation-based

Podgorica is a true treasure of Montenegro. Its history preserves traces of Ancient Rome, the Ottoman Empire, the Montenegrin Kingdom, and the Yugoslav Republic.

During the lecture, we will travel through time and try to see the city as it was in different eras — from ancient relics and Ottoman buildings to Yugoslav Titograd and the modern capital of Montenegro.

We will learn:
✔️ which Russian museum holds an ancient relic from Podgorica and why it is there
✔️ which Ottoman-era building still “smells like a bathhouse”
✔️ why so few beautiful buildings of a true European capital remain in the city
✔️ whether a modern mosque can be an architectural masterpiece

Egor will present more than a hundred archival photographs featuring city residents, one donkey, one bear, and the most beautiful buildings of the Montenegrin capital.
