Tourist offer of Montenegro presented in Istanbul

Organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, the National Tourism Organization and local tourism organizations of the Capital Podgorica and the municipalities of Bar, Budva and Tivat and with the support of the Montenegrin Embassy in Turkey, a presentation of Montenegro’s tourist offer was organized in Istanbul.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, Damir Dadivodić, said that they had reason to be satisfied with today’s visit. On this occasion, he reminded of the content of the meeting that the representatives of the Montenegrin tourism industry had with the Turkish media.

“The meeting lasted for two hours, during which we answered various questions concerning Montenegro, the economic situation in Turkey and the potential for further cooperation,” he said.

Davidović emphasized the importance of this presentation, as well as the business workshop which, as he said, was visited by about 100 agencies and tour operators from Turkey, and added:

“The very fact that this year we have a much better air connection gives reason for optimism and somewhere says that this is one market that will surely achieve a good result this year, as an emitting market to us, and that we have room to significantly raise it in the upcoming years “, said State Secretary Davidović.

The Montenegrin coast is also dominant in Montenegrin tourist traffic, said Davidović, adding that the presentation of the north of Montenegro as well as the central part is an indispensable topic at such meetings.

“Every municipality in Montenegro has its own specifics, which is presented here today, and it seems to me that the reactions are very positive,” he said.
