The afforestation action “For the healthy lungs of our city” on Malo Brdo starts on Saturday

The Secretariat for Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development and the city company Zelenilo, in cooperation with the local community, are organizing the action For Healthy Lungs of our city .

Aware of the need for preservation and continuous enrichment of the plant fund, and the humanization of the area in which we live, we are launching another action of afforestation of hills in the vicinity of Podgorica. These are the largest and most important green areas in the city and favorite places for rest and recreation.

During February, actions are planned on Malo Brdo, Dajbabska gora and Gorica (Lješkopolje). In addition to the contribution to the enrichment of the plant fund, the special value of the action is the joint action of the local community and the Capital, and it is aimed at improving the quality of living environment of current and future generations.

We will start the with the action on the 12th. February, by afforestation of the selected location on Malo brdo, by the joint forces of the representatives of the Capital and the locals of Rogami, Vranićke njive and Vranići.

The capital continues to make a significant contribution to preserving and improving the condition of green areas in Podgorica by organizing these and similar actions.
