The most widely read French regional newspaper “Ouest France” published an affirmative article about Montenegro, which describes the natural beauties and cultural sights of our country.
The National Tourist Organization of Montenegro hosted the journalist of this prestigious newspaper Yves Hardy, who conveyed positive impressions from Montenegro to the readers of this French newspaper.
As he points out, Montenegro, with only 630,000 inhabitants, offers a whole range of offers for quality vacations.
“The small country, a favorite on the Adriatic coast, has several natural gems such as the Bay of Kotor and Lake Skadar. Whether you come by boat from the Croatian city of Dubrovnik or from the mainland, the Bay of Kotor will undoubtedly give you a view of the most beautiful fjord in the southern Mediterranean “, the article reads.
During his stay in the destination, Hardy had the opportunity to visit the northern, central and southern regions. After visiting Kolašin, Biogradska gora National Park, Cetinje, he also visited tourist sites in the area of Perast, Kotor, Budva and Bar. His tour of the coast included everything from the luxurious offer of Sveti Stefan, Luštica and Porto Montenegro to the peaceful fishing village of Bjelila.
“Those with a ‘deep pocket’ find their ‘hidden corner’ on the Sveti Stefan peninsula or anchor their luxury yachts in the Porto Montenegro marina. Those who still want something else, far from the jet set, decide to walk through the small fishing village of Bjelila, get to know the capital of Cetinje or visit one of the five national parks of incredible beauty “, the article reads.
He described Skadar Lake as a huge body of water surrounded by the most beautiful greenery, where pelicans are the hosts. He says that Bar can be recognized by the olive tree that is over 2,200 years old, as well as by the cobblestones and streets in the Old Town, while in the north stands out Kolašin and NP Biogradska gora with its wild nature.
In addition to cultural and historical sights and natural beauties, Hardy had the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomic offer of Montenegro. Before returning to his country, he visited the Šipčanik wine cellar, where he tasted Montenegrin wines of the company “13. July – Plantations ”.
Ouest France is the most widely read regional daily in France, with a circulation of around 700,000 a day. It is expected that this announcement will contribute to the promotion of Montenegro as a tourist destination on the French market. Local tourist organizations from Kolasin, Cetinje, Tivat, Kotor, Budva and Podgorica, hotels “Splendid Conference & Spa” and “Bianca Resort & Spa”, as well as companies “Lustica bay” and “Porto Montenegro” also gave their support in organizing the study visit of the French journalist.
