City park on Ćemovsko polje

The capital Podgorica invites citizens to be part of the story of the future largest city park, and to contribute to the design and construction of a new park area in the city with their proposals and suggestions.

Only 3.5 km from the city center is Ćemovsko polje, the largest plain in Montenegro, which belongs to the valleys of the rivers Cijevna and Morača. It is the most suitable location for the construction of the largest city park, which will meet the needs of all residents and visitors of Podgorica.

Over the years, as a result of excellent cooperation between the local population and city companies and services, part of this area has been enriched with various plant species and garden elements, a trim track in the length of 1,150 m was built, sports – recreational content for children was installed as well as training equipment for dogs.

However, it was time for Podgorica to get a park on as much as 43.7 ha, where citizens will be able to spend a whole day and enjoy its facilities, which they will design together with the Capital.

Designing and building this park area, intended for all generations, is a complex job. Therefore, we invite all those interested to give their contribution by joining us on Thursday 19.05. at 7 pm and by saying what kind of park they want, but also to follow the site www.nacemovsko.me and leave your proposal.
